Chime Asonye worked as a Consultant in Liberia for the United States Agency for International Development, where he coached a debate team. Currently, Chime is the Student Trustee for the UIUC campus and feels that his work abroad and on campus are tied together in an effort to teach people to find their voice through debate. Raquel Garcia is an UIUC alumna, a graduate of ACES 2005 and former Vice President of the International Association of Students in Agriculture and Related Sciences (IAAS). When she joined this campus organization, she unwittingly started an international career which took her first to Serbia, then Africa, and finally to Belgium where she worked professionally for an entire year.
